How To Close The Dropbox Account When Deleting An Account

Before Deleting Your Dropbox Account

When you delete your Dropbox account, all of your files in your Dropbox account will be deleted as undeliverable. Therefore, it is important to back up your important data and files to the appropriate locations before you perform this operation. If you do not perform the backup process, your important documents will be deleted as you do not want them at all.

If you see this page, you are not logged in to your Dropbox account. As shown in the example above, you must enter the relevant e-mail and passwords of your account to perform Dropbox account deletion and press the “Sign In” button.

Once you have logged in to your account or if you have already logged in to your account, this will be the page that will meet you. On this page, you will need to enter the password of your Dropbox account in the first box shown above to confirm that you want to perform the operation.

Then “why are you leaving?"” you can give the most appropriate answer to the question. For example, we answered “other”, which is why we are shutting down the Dropbox account for other reasons. What option you select here will not matter to you very much. Then we delete the Dropbox account by clicking on the “delete my account” button by leaving the following box blank.

After clicking the button, the system will take you out of the account and redirect you to the home page. When you see the Dropbox home page, you understand that your account has been deleted successfully.
